And don't try again
Poet and writer Charles Bukowski died on this day in 1994.
There will always be something to ruin our lives
," Bukowski wrote, "
it all depends on what or which finds us first. We are always ripe and ready to be taken
Bukowski's funeral was performed by Buddhist monks. His tombstone reads, "Don't try."
